Building A Shortlist

Building a customized shortlist for your role helps you source candidates more effectively. This guide details how to save candidates that you are interested in to your shortlist.

Steps

  1. On your dashboard, under My Roles, select the role you’d like to build a shortlist for.
  2. Under shortlist, click +Candidates to begin browsing candidate profiles. 
    1. You can use the search bar and/or apply filters to find candidates who would be great candidates for your role. 
  3. Click on a candidate’s name to open and review their profile. 
  4. If interested, select +Add to Shortlist to add the candidate to your shortlist.
    1. Otherwise, click into another candidate profile to keep browsing. You can also adjust your search and filter conditions to begin a new search and see new candidates. 
  5. Close out of the shortlist window at any time to save your progress. You can always return later to continue building your shortlist. 

Tips

  • Remove a candidate from your shortlist by clicking the X next to their name. 
  • Add notes about a candidate to reference later, or to share with your colleagues, as you collaborate on your shortlist. 
  • You can establish a rank preference order on your shortlist by dragging candidates using the drag and drop grab tool next to each candidate's name.
  • The Civic Match team may add candidates to your shortlist for your review. If you’d like to request shortlisting assistance, please reach out to your Relationship Manager directly or civicmatch@workforamerica.org
