How to Create a Hiring Manager Account
This article walks you through how to sign up for a Civic Match account as a government hiring manager. Access is exclusively available for state, city or local government employees, including tribal governments, state universities, special districts, and authorities.
Steps
- Go to Civic Match.
- Use your government-issued email address or preferred platform integration to sign up . A verification code may be sent to your email.
- Complete your profile details and click ‘Save profile.’
- Your profile is now active! Post a role and start sourcing candidates.
Troubleshooting
I submitted my profile, but I still don’t have access to Civic Match. / My profile is still pending. What should I do?
We couldn't automatically verify your employment status. The Civic Match team is reviewing your profile, which may take 24-48 hours. You will receive an approval confirmation email once your account is ready, allowing you to begin browsing on Civic Match.
